On A Budget & Need A Massage Desperately In The Bay Area, CA?
I have terrible stress management and it seems to go straight into my shoulders. I don't have a lot of money to splurge on a massage, but I really need to get this stress rubbed out. Any suggestions of places (or massage schools) that can help, but won't cause a major dent in my wallet?

Check out Craigslist for barter or trade.
You may find a masseuse who is in need of your expertise.
Or post one yourself.
Think of it as that old saying "You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours"
There are quite a few listed.

if you go to a local flea market, they have vendor(s) there that actually offer massaging. i think different flea markets offer different pricing, but
generally they're not overly pricey.
i've been to ones where they charge $10-25 for 10-20 minutes or so. obviously, it's not as nice as going to a spa, but it's affordable.
here are a couple of flea markets that offer massaging:
san jose flea market
1590 berryessa rd
san jose, ca 95133
berkeley flea market (ashby bart station)
1937 ashby ave,
berkeley, ca
coliseum flea market (about 1 block or so from coliseum)
5401 coliseum way
oakland, ca 94601
