What is the best way to travel from Brussels Midi train station to Grand Place?

Hello, I can't seem to find much detail on travelling from Brussells Midi train station to Grand Place, Belgium? I have about a 4 1/2 hour layover at the train station.

Does anyone know how long this would take and the best/ cheapest way to get there?

Any websites would be great too.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

The easiest way would be to continue taking the train to Brussels Central Station (only 5 minutes). The Grand Place is only 5 to 10 minutes away from Central station by foot.

For details and itineraries, please go to http://www.b-rail.be/main/E/index.php , which is the website of the Belgian railways.

If you're coming by Eurostar your train will terminate at Gare du Midi. You can either find another train from midi to gare centrale (this is free and included in your Eurostart ticket) or you could get the pre-metro to Bourse or Gare Central. Any of the pre metro lines will take you there and you will pay €1.70 for a ticket. It would only take about 15 mins max to get to the town centre.
