Is it possible for a central air unit to run at 115 v 15 a?
The specs are 208/230 volts 60 HZ it says 11.4 a for us, and 30a for Canada. It was connected to 110 and 15 amps. The AC was working, until a week ago. It only worked in the on position, not the auto position. Can the motors voltage be rewired internally, like a water pump? (the AC does not say 115/230) Would putting in a 230/30 breaker fix the problem?
It is definitely 1 single breaker.

They still make double pole breakers with a single leaver.Check the voltage at the panel.Like the man said I don't know any 110v. central unit.Window units yes,central or split units ,no.You should have two hot wires and a neutral or ground going to the unit.

no it can not it must be ran at what sticker says if it say 208/230 then u must have it wired for that there is no home central ac unit that will ran on a 115 outlet all home ac are 220

115V. might run the fan, but not the compressor.
Are you sure it's not connected to two single pole breakers?
