... or do you believe that it is cyclical and humans are not contributing to the warming of the globe through the burning of fossil fuels?
Some good answers here so far ... please keep them coming.

It doesn't even matter whether it's man made or natural. The one thing everyone is oblivious to is the impact it is already having on farmers. They are either suffering from drought, flooding rain, or late freezes. Food prices are already going up. Food shortages will be next.

I see Olympus is more guilty than those he chose to attack. Typical lib denier. Who has no idea what the science is, or anything about earths history at all, absolutely nothing. Pollution is being reduced and someday eliminated as technology advances. Until then people like him will continue to politicize as well as use it a method to extract wealth from the masses for themselves. As to your question it prob effects the environment to some degree ,but it would an unmeasurable amount compared to the natural processes of the universe we live in. Why anyone would expect that ,with earth swinging madly around the star(sun) in an ever expanding universe, That nothing will ever change is a very dim bulb indeed. At one time not so long ago, the whole earth was frozen except the area around the Philippines. And just 10,000 years ago( that is yesterday or this morning in earth history) most of new york and all the northern states were beneath glaciers. Would Olympus and the other sheep like to return it to that climate ? There is cause for study and concern of the world that sustains us. But this hysterical nonsense from the ignorant is quite a joke. And watching them being used and manipulated by the power brokers, money grabbers and political driven groups is a sad statement of the general public's education and gullibility. And NO group is more hateful than the left.

Although global warming is a natural process, Humans are and have been responsible for harming the planet and all who live on it. We are destroying the planet and climate change has become a serious problem that is putting the human race, plants, and animals in extreme danger. The burning of fossil fuels is on of the main reasons why we are contributing to global warming.

I believe that human responsibility for global warming in minute. The most pressing concern of human pollution is the water supply. We are putting too much 'stuff' in our water. We put our human waste in the water that has been treated with chemicals, we put pharmaceutical waste in out water contribution to resistant 'bugs'
Water pollution is harder to exploit that global warming, this is why Gore and other con artist are pushing the global warming false issue.

I think the effect of humans is a small part of alleged global warming. Doesn't seem to be very warm to me the last 2 years. Not enough to enact "cap & trade" for CO2 and wreck our economy.

I do not believe humans are responsible for global warming. I believe it is just cyclical. This is all about controlling our lives.

What I find the most amusing in this whole controversy is that our current climate of the last 100 years is the mildest the earth has ever enjoyed. it is normally either 1 to 2 degrees hotter or colder than it currently is. So no humans have not done it and currently do not have the capability to make a real difference either way. Now if we returned to the general practices of economic recycling practiced in earlier years before the environmentalists got involved most of the current pollution mess would vanish over night. We currently have a problem with pollution because of idiotic environmental laws that prevent the economical recycling of most scrap materials.

There is NO credible science that supports "Man-did-it" global warming....... I repeat..... NONE!
The 'Hand-Wringers' (Alarmists) know this but refuse to swallow their pride and admit it. Of course, there are also those who "Go along" for the fame and fortunes to be made by duping the public.
Oh, by the way..... the Earth is in its 8th year of a Global COOLING cycle. Now that is a REAL 'inconvenient truth' for the Hand-wringers!

I think it's probably a bit of a mix. We have definitely aided the greenhouse effect with our burning of fossil fuel, but I also believe the earth changes over time too. There are periods of extreme heat and extreme cold on this planet, and so we could be going through a time where it is starting to warm up. But humans have definitely made it worse.

A cycle is not a cause, if you think it's cyclical that's fine, tell us what the cause of the cycle is. I will help you eliminate Milankovitch cycles, we know the history of those and they have a cooling effect right now.
Try again.
