I think so. What so many people on here aren't thinking about is the fact that Tony Jr was probably a good crew chief, just not with Dale Jr. They're too alike to be able to work together. A new crew chief is going to be able to talk to Dale Jr like a crew chief, not a close cousin who sees him at family reunions and holidays. Maybe Tony Jr will be able to work better with someone else because of the same reason Dale Jr will work better with Lance McGrew.

I think Nascar driver Dale jr's new crew chief will help with communication, therefore making the 88 team more productive and jr doing better. Remember it is not just one person on a team, but rather the whole team working together and communication is essential.

I dont think so. I think that Junior is just overrated and sucks. Hes clearly the worst driver for Hendrick Motorsports. A new crew chief may help a little, but I dont think hes good enough to get into the Chase.

Jr needs something positive to happen for him in his racing career. I am hoping this change will make that happen. I think Jr and Tony needed to be split up because their race results had a lot to be desired. Jr has the tools and ability to be a contender.

i think the problem was the driver, not crew cheif
