Does anyone believe anything Dick Cheney says?

Old "motor-mouth" is only concerned with his legacy. He keeps forgetting that everything he lied about in the past is on tape. Are Republicans still influenced by his daily diatribes?

I am certainly no fan of Dick Cheney but I fully believe Cheney believes everything that comes out of his mouth. He is a very determined man with a lot of conviction. And that is not necessarily a good thing in his case. He is driven by his own warped ideology. But he's not completely a man of ideas. His history shows he is also driven by the pursuit of money. He will surely sell himself to the highest bidder. He is a mixture of greedy and ideological. In other words, your typical CEO sociopath.

I don't see how anyone can.

This is a man who obstructs justice with respect to outing CIA agents for political retaliation and defends criminal torture with lies.

This is also the man who said Iraqis would throw flowers at invading / occupying forces.

When has he ever been right ?

Absolutely not. He says whatever fits for the moment. No matter what he says, the day will come when he contradicts himself. Such as, when we were going to war with Iraq it was because Saddam was in cohoots with the terrorists, and now he says there was evidence of this at all. He had an ethical obligation to be honest and upfront from the get go. Believe him, only if you are a fool.

as someone who does NOT support marxism, unilateral surrender or borrowing to prosperity, i consider myself a proud conservative and am influenced by no one other than negatively by obama attacking what was previously an economic way to accrue the fruits of my own labors.

the only diatribe here is liberal attacks on conservatives for no reason.

marxism simply doesnt work..PERIOD and if dick cheney happens to say something i agree with then yes ill believe it but i could frankly care less either way...the differences between captialism and the cancerous nature of obamas marxism are huge.

I for one believe everything Dick Cheney says. I am a Republican and am still influenced by his comments. Hope that doesn't disappoint you too much, but if it does, so be it.

I wouldn't believe a single word. As he tries to defend his legacy I believe he is just adding to the belief that the bush administration was wrong on everything.

The ONLY time a Republican is being truthful is when it reflects badly on a Democrat.

    And vice versa.

Yes. I don't believe everything, but I do believe a lot of what he says.

I don't think he's very concerned about his "legacy".

I do! He knows a lot more than Obama about what's going on in the world! Obama means well but he's green, no experience!

Cheney pawned his soul to Satan, and the devil claimed Cheney's mind as interest.

Cheney is insane. He is like the bitter old man, who sits on the front porch, yelling at neighborhood children.
