Will Detroit be better on Thursday?

Absolutely. I think Draper will be back and I heard Datsyuk, too. Since Draper is one of the best face off men in the league (he would most likely, take the face offs then get off the ice) and Datsyuk one of the best puck handlers who could help the power play immensely, I can't see how they won't be better. Even without them they will be more consistent.

Let's hope they play A lot better. With Datsyuk back, you can have a shadow on crosby and malkin all game long. Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, even Helm because of his speed can keep crosby and malkin in check. The young guns on the Wings gave the more expierence guys more rest so now we can actually get things going. (We haven't played an impressive game yet.) So lets hope we smack the pens around eh?

The Wings have had lousy games with both of them in the lineup, and good games with them. Obviously, it's impossible to say. But Draper is great in the faceoff circle, and Datsyuk is possibly the best two-way player in the entire league. So you have to like the Wings' chances for putting in a more solid performance. We shall see, won't we?

NHL players are so good that on a penalty kill every defending team has to play a box. This essentially takes a lot of skill off players' instincts. The Red Wings have a lot of "instinct" players that are very smart at reading plays.

The Red Wings, in general, are a smaller team (smaller defensemen, smaller goalie). Pucks are more likely to get through against a smaller team. It is no surprise that the Pens are ripping shots from longer distances.

no they won't, they will keep getting worse as the pens get better. osgood is a bum and benefits from a good defense, with no defense he sucks and is one of the worse 5 in the nhl.

crosby has yet to score a goal and when he catches fire in game 4 the series may be over because he will be unstoppable along with malkin.

draper is a bum and is not a good player and he really does look like a rapist. datsyuk is a big baby. he can't play with an injury in the Stanley Cup finals. that shows what kind of player he is. if hes supposed to be this great player and one of the best in the nhl then he would play with an injury but he doesn't so he's a little ***** just like babcock.

Pens win in 6 games and make the wings look like little girls. if it's not for lucky bounces then your star players are doing nothing offensively. atleast the pens star players are doing something offensively.

Hossa seems to like Game 4's-he's had 2 goals in Game 4 against Columbus, Anaheim and Chicago. Hmmmmm.......

Yes, and if they get Datsyuk back too, they'll be even better. Wings win tomorrow, and then go back home to win the Cup. GO WINGS!

nobody knows, and nobody on here can help you. but if you want reassurance, then sure! i'm 100% certain they'll be better.....
