Usually it takes a couple of weeks before a pregnancy test can detect a pregnancy. I would say 5 days is a little too early to tell. Give it another week or so then try again.

As others have stated, a doctors blood test is more accurate, but u have to wait till 7 days after u believe u conceived.The test is called a Quantitative Beta HCG pregnancy blood test. . This blood test works by measuring the amount of HCG in your blood and is highly accurate.

its possible, some people dont find out they are pregnant until at least 6 weeks gone which is usually when youre about 2 weeks late. retest in a few days if its still negative then go to your doctor and get a blood test done.

I feel your pain, i'm currently 10 days late and getting negative tests... i'm going to the doctors if its not here by next week

Go see a doctor and have a blood test done. This will tell you for 100%

take a retest n if that comes back as negative then go and see your doctor and ask for a blood test to be done then you will knw for sure

Get your bloodwork at the doctor's office. You could be pregnant but it's not unheard of for your body to do weird things either (such as period being late)

yes blood test gives more accurate then hpt. it would be better to take urine test at hospital or clinic by consulting a best gynecologist in your local area.

wait a couple more days and test again its possble you didnt have enough pregnancy hormone for the test to detect!

blood test are more accurate then a home test. you should have it done just to have peace of mind

either go to the doctor, or if you decide, you can test again with a few more hpt's
