First date, Burslem, Kidsgrove, Tunstall area - where to go ?
A Long shot this.
I have a first date on Saturday night and would like to take her to a nice, quietish bar where we can talk to each other without shouting. It has to be somewhere relatively close to Burslem\Tunstall\Kidsgrove, Stoke on Trent. I am not familiar with the area at all and have no idea where to suggest.
Have heard good things about the rifleman inn at acres nook.
Anyone have any suggestion please let me know ASAP - Saturday is coming fast !

The Sneyd Arms Hotel in the centre of Tunstall (tower square) is quite nice. For Burslem, you could try out the Leopard - it is supposedly famously haunted so could provide you with something to have a chat about. Did read the Blue Bell in Kidsgrove had won pub of the month in the camra newsletter so can't be bad though wouldn't recommend most pubs in kidsgrove as mostly rowdy. I don't know much about the Rifleman Inn unfortunately - you can try beerintheevening.com for information on different bars/pubs.
