question about cardio and exercising?

i usually run 2 and a half miles then do weights on my legs because im trying to tone up my legs and then i sprint half a life! but someone told me if i wanna loose fat i need to run less before like half a mile then do more weights then run more after what do you think i should do?

    I'd agree with your friend. Having toned legs is a result of having muscle on your legs, which is built by weights. If you run before weights, your legs will be tired and you won't be able to work as hard on the weights, meaning less muscle and less results.

    You should generally do the most demanding activities first, so resistance training before cardio.
