Awww you sound like a sweet guy, bob. Just tell her how you feel. Emphasize her strengths, her skills, how beautiful she is. Tell her that you care deeply for her, regardless of what she thinks, or what may have happened in her past. Be supportive and be there for her, and I'm sure she'll realize sooner or later what a great guy she's acquainted with.
