Can guppies and tetras be put in a tank together?

i have 2 male guppies and a oto catfish in a 10 gallon and i was wondering if i could add a few tetras.

    PLEASE DON'T! If you care about your gupies alot, then don't. Tetras CAN live with them, but will nip their tails very very hard, and it puts the guppy in pain. I would keep them separate. Guppies have died from getting their tails nipped before. Please don't.

    Yes you can i have 4 fancy guppies with 2 neon tetras and they are happy together

    You may get away with it with 6 Neon Tetras, but if you get any, they must be in a school.

    Hi Reesie If you were thinking of just keeping to your two male guppies a shoal of neons would look lovely

    depends on the tetras some get really big http://www.thetropicaltank.co.uk/Fishindx/tigrfish... neons glowlights etc... and ur ok

    edit: after reading the question (i should do this first) no not in a 10g neons need a school of 5+ minimum

    yes you can add tetras. You should add about 6 of them.
