Anybody have side effects when using Elevit?
I recently found out I was pregnant...
was preggers for about 5 weeks before I found out...had no morning sickness or anything.
Went to the Doc to do the whole blood scan thing - and she told me to go on Elevit...two weeks later, I was experiencing EXTREME morning sickness, which was lasting 24 hrs.
Apparently it was the Elevit - the Iron in it that was making me sick.
I've now finished with Elevit, and feeling back to normal (or as normal as you can being preggers)...and taking Folate instead.
Has anybody else experienced this?

I've been taking it pretty much since my second doc appt during pregnancy which was at about 9 weeks, it's given me nausea and constipation, but the nausea wasn't from Elevit itself, i just had the bad end of the stick :-( i was still eating healthy as well as taking Elevit. Next doc appt i'd explain to her the side effects it has given you, and she'll most likely recommend a different brand.
