Great Question!
This isn't a biased answer... but it's the Penguins... hear me out...
Say the Penguins force a Game 7... each team will know what's on the line for the 7th and final game. Whoever walks out the winner, will be hoisting the Stanley Cup.
Game 7s are by far the least predictable of all games. Anything can happen... and it's for all the marbles!
If it were the Penguins on home-ice for Game 7... I'd be saying the Wings have the best chance to win on the road.

The Pens. Naturally, Detroit gets first crack at it tonight. But suppose the Pens win and force a game 7? Both teams will be in unchartered waters. Although we all know that the Pens have not played a game 7 for the Cup, NEITHER HAVE THE RED WINGS! The modern edition has sweeps over the Flyers and Caps, Carolina in 5, Pens in 6. No other team has pushed the Red Wings like the Pens have in the Finals. And has been previously mentioned, anything can happen in a game 7.

The Red Wings are going back home and having the fans behind you and the atmosphere only makes it that much sweeter. As for the road games, Detroit has been more successful with that but are versatile enough to win anywhere. I would love to see Pavel Datsyuk finally win a Stanley Cup, as that is why he signed up with Detroit because he feels his best chance of doing that is with Detroit. GO WINGS!

I think Game 7 no matter which team it was would have a better chance winning on the road, which kind of favors the Pens since game 7 would/will be in Detroit. Game 7's are definitely unpredictable. Pens are going to come out full force tonight at home and I do think the Red Wings have a good chance at beating them, no doubt, but I think Pens have a better chance in Game 7 than the Wings do tonight in Game 6.

The Wings obviously have the best chance simply because they HAVE that chance. The Pens would need to win at home first.
I do get what you're saying, though, and my answer is still the Wings, simply because Datsyuk is back in the lineup. He and Zetterberg will be centering separate lines, meaning that Crosby and Malkin will be facing one of them for just about every shift.

Detroit. I think that they are deep enough where the matchups of the line changes won't really matter as much, especially with Datsyuk now back. For the Pens, Fleury is a completely different goalie at the Joe this year. Seems like that place is in his head.

Red Wings, they are very good at closing out series on the road and they play well on the road in general. They have also won their last 3 Cups on the road. Although it would be nice to see them win one at home.

The Penguins. If the Pens play on the road, it will be in game 7. In game 6, tonight, I think the Pens are going to throw everything they've got at Detroit, since they are on the brink of elimination. With their fans behind them and the team giving all that they've got, the Wings are going to have a tough time winning in Mellon Arena tonight. That being said, game 7 is do or die for both teams, and while it will be difficult for Pittsburgh to win in the Joe in game 7 of the SCF, I think it will be easier than Detroit winning game 6.
Edit: I also agree with Killswitch in that game 7s are incredibly unpredictable.
