Why did it take so long for me to conceive?

It took me and the hubby about two years to conceive our son. I did notice that everytime we would have sex, as soon as I would stand up--everything would kind of fall out. Did this have something to do with it? I remember the day we conceived and I remember laying down for a while afterward and when I stood up, nothing really came out. Was it just a coincidence?

I have read that laying down helps your chances of conceiving so that might have helped but its probably because each month you only have about a 30% chance of conceiving and certain days of the month you have a better chance of getting pregnant then other days so you could have just been trying to much becuase if you try every day that doesn't give the guy enough time to recoporate so he will be shooting more blanks reducing your chances. Or you could just have been not having sex during your most fertile days.

NOT all of it is going to come out what the problem could have been was that you were not doing it on the right time of the month. It took me a year and five months to get pregnant and i wasnt going to try after our last time and we took a home ovulation test and it was i was ready and that was right that was the day i got pregnant!! it ended in miscarriage but that is because i had hyperemesis :( as long as u dont u will be cool, but if you do get HELP right away!!

I was told to lay still for 20-30 mins. afterwards. It worked for me.

What came out what semen. That ALWAYS comes out, it doesn't stay in you, sperm does. :)
