What can sending money possibly do to help the problem with polar bears?

It will help by being able to pay enough Inuit hunters to betray their own people and say that they have noticed a decline in the Polar Bear population and that the Government must stop global warming.

I think that the Inuit are too smart to actually let that happen, but you need money to try!

Actually all the WWF is doing is trying to get more money for their pet projects. The polar bears are doing better then ever or at least for the past century. Out of the 16 colonies the majority are either stable or growing. The WWF is just like the ASPCA commercials trying to put animals ahead of people. Also, the only way that the WWF could really help creatures is by buying up huge tracks of land that are the habitat of the creatures in question. This doesn't work with the polar bear who already lives in more secluded spots with few human settlements around.

Most polar bears now have paypal accounts and get the money directly. They also receive generous payments from the WWF and Greenpeace for their appearances in commercials.

Mostly they spend the cash on sealskin shoes and fish, but that is only because there is no Wal-Mart in the Arctic.

jerry is quite wrong about this. Send your money to me, instead. I can save even more polar bears and do it using less carbon and in a sustainable way.

I agree, when I saw those commercials I thought the only thing money could instantly do was help is buy/make plastic glaciers so the polar bears wouldn't drowned. It's kind of ridiculous...

A) there taking all of americans money who love cute adorable polar bears and buying stuff that mostlikely isnt "eco-friendly" and completely lieing to you,

C)there actully doing something!

Obviously they're going to do something productive with the money. Maybe it IS for running ad campaigns to recycle.

I mean, commercials take money. Lots of money. Any kind of advertising requires some funding. If they were to just show public service messages, like "ride your bike", they'd have to get money from somewhere in order to pay the networks to let them run their commercial. And for charities like WWF, most of their funding comes from public donors. So occasionally they have to ask for money.

There is nutritional value in paper currency, but it's quite limited.

I think polar bears prefer meat.

It won't help.......it's just another scam! You can do your best for the environment, which we should all do, BUT in the end Mother Nature will continue with survival of the fittest...Darwin explained this very well.
