does italian parsley go bad when it goes to seed?

I have heard that basil goes bad when it goes to seed. My italian parsley is starting to seed and it tastes funny....

    It tends to die off and the taste will changed after it goes to seed, like any plant.

    Yes, once it goes to flower or bolts the taste changes. It often becomes bitter.
