What to do in Kona Hawaii?!!?
We are going to Kona, HI for our Honeymoon in the middle of August. What are some great things to do there that won't break the budget? I know it's expensive, we really want to get into the local scene though and experience some awesome authentic food, clubs and fun activies all around the big island. Please help with some super fun ideas!!!

the whole kona shore has amazing snorkeling, some of the best in the world--you can do that everyday since rentals are about $15 a week
go to all the different colored beaches ==green sand beach, black sand beach, white sand beach
if you want authentic go the Hilo side--thats where its all locals
hawaai volcanoe national park is great and cheap --hike to the flowing lava

When you think Kona think coffee. In addition there are a number of volcanoes there. I don't think a plantation tour or a visit to a volcanic park will break you.
If all you want to do is go clubbing I can't help you (because I'm too old for that ****).
