I'm planning to go to Hawaii in a few weeks and we were thinking of renting a jeep. I've heard both good and bad things. Has anyone out there rented one and is it worth it? We have a free rental, so we can pretty much get whatever we want, so the price is not the factor. We just want to have fun. Oh yeah, we're headed to the Big Island, so another factor is 4WD a nice thing to have or not really necessary. Thanks for the help!

Please help, I've looked on so many websites and we need a first dance song! Our wedding is in 10 days and I still can't decide. I want something sort of alternative or jazzy, not heard a lot. I don't really want country, but if it's not too twangy, maybe. I know there's something out there that I'm not thinking of. Please help!

We are doing our wedding at a family cabin on the lake in MN in June. We are doing a tent and I know it is going to be a lot of work, but I'm excited. It is where we got engaged, so it seems like a full circle to be able to get married there as well. I'm just getting a little nervous about the weather though. Minnesota is extremely unpredictable. Has anyone had their wedding under the tent and dealt with less than desirable weather? We will have sides to the tent to keep any weather elements out, but I'm nervous if it downpours for days before the tent gets set up. Anyone have stories to share? Both good and bad?? I know what I'm getting into and I'm pretty set on the outdoor idea. I'm just curious if anyone has dealt with the soaking ground and if your guests had a good time anyway. Thanks!

I'm trying to picture what my colors will look like for my wedding coming up in June and trying to decide on table linens. We are doing a tent by the lake. I'm thinking of doing lilac color table clothes under a white tent, with white chairs and pops of red and lime green throughout. But I'm torn if I should do the lilac or do a red linen instead to make it brighter. The flowers will be green orchids, hydrangea, roses, freesia, dahlias and mums. Give some input!

Is it necessary to have a head table? Is a sweet heart table a better option so that the wedding party can sit with their dates / family?

I'm getting married in June and am looking for a unique idea besides a unity candle for the ceremony. My fiance is Vietnamese and I would like to include a tradition, or come up with something unique of our own. We are getting married by a friend who was ordained under a tent by the lake, so we don't have any religious restrictions. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

I'm looking for a site to have my ceremony around the Hinckley / Pine City, MN area. Does anyone know of a church that would marry non-members? Or maybe a nice place for a ceremony and I could find my own officiant? We are having our reception at the family lake cabin and there is enough room for a tent, but not for the ceremony. Any ideas??? Thanks!
