How can a soul feel pain when there isn't a brain or anything to process pain as in this physical world?

So like when they say your going to suffer and burn in eternal hell, how's that statement even factual?

And don't forget an entire nervous system to transmit the pain. Don't worry, they'll explain that after you die, you get a supernatural, indestructible "body" which, although it can't be damaged, can still feel pleasure and pain just like an earthly body. All thanks to the thoughtful benevolence of God!

The bible's definition of the soul is very simple. At Genesis chapter 2 verse 7 It simply states:"Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul." (notice that this does not say that man was given a soul but that he became a soul, a living person.) So we are all living souls. When we die we become dead souls as is stated in Ezekiel 4:18," the soul that is sinning it itself will die".

You don't have to worry about suffering after you die because the bible explains that death is a state similar to a deep sleep. At ecclesiastes chapter 9 verse 5 says:" The living are conscious that they will die but as for the dead they are conscious of nothing at all..."

Romans chapter 6 verse 7 says "for he who has died has been acquitted of his sin'" so the idea of suffering and burning in hell is not a teaching from the bible.

First of all, in the end, death, hell and the grave will be cast into the lake of fire

We are a spirit living in a body that has senses

    Key term: physical.

I can't help you with the hell thing since I don't believe it exists, but there's emotional pain as well as physical. You feel that sometimes, don't you?

    1) physical pain is not the only kind.

    2) eternal hell is an evil, nonsense invention of christianity.

The closest example to death is sleep. So have you ever had nightmares?? some of them really hurt without actually getting hurt.

Who says there is nothing to process pain when you die?

Speak to the many atheists who have died and suffered toments of hell before they were medically resuccitated.

They will tell you they felt pain 24/7 and that Jesus is really Lord of all Spirits and that only partnership with him by forgiveness of sins prevents you from going to hell

God will give bodies to sinners which will feel, their brains will know and comprehend, and their bodies will have an everlasting and every dying body which will not be able to decay away.
