92 Jeep Cherokee wont start?
I went to start my Jeep. I know the battery is fine because all the lights and the radio still come on. When I go to start it, my dad said he could hear a faint clicking noise. Thank you!!!!

I think it is your starter. Usually when it seems like the battery is dead, but you hear that clicking noise, it is the starter.
Here's a trick I learned. Grab a hammer, locate the starter, now give it a good whack. Then see if the car will start.
Honest it's a trick some guy friends taught me.

the battery is probably dead. The starter takes a lot more power than the radio and headlights. If it isn't the battery check the solenoid switch.
BTW: You can take the battery to auto zone or another chain store and they will check it for free.

it could be either a dead cell in your battery or it could be your solenoid.
you can check and see if it is the battery go where your starter is, take a screw driver with on the solenoid part there should be a clip take the clip off and and touch the screw driver to that and the starter bolt if it starts it will be your battery.
