An accident right near Mellon Arena a short time ago involving a bus and a police car.....The first place Detroit Tigers are in town to take on the uh, hum, PITTSburgh Pirates....
Are these signs that things will not go well for the Pens and their fans tonight?
I see GLOOM in Pittsburgh, except over my house!
Not quite as long as the Pens KILLSwitch. Nonetheless, expect the same for the Pens...
Add, KILLSwitch, is that why people who don;t know hockey here always want to argue with me and ALWAYS BRING UP FOOTBALL? LOL
PNC view of the skyline is better than Comerica Park's view in Detroit, however Comerica Park is nicer overall...

I read that, among others......and I read a few more here in PITTSburgh as well. Notice I mention Mellon Arena.....significance.....home of the Pens....
Casey=chicks name.......BTW population of Detroit is less than a million....Nice try.
Not to mention "how long did it take you to come up with that one" <---sound familiar?

HANGOVER IS ON THE MOVIE RADAR! Glad to hear it is WORTHWHILE. Maybe I SHOULD TRUST YOU MORE often?
Casey.......those numbers are fudged for the sake of government aid. Notice how it is "slightly higher". For years Detroit had complained about census counts so they can receive financial assistance. If you only knew, unlike your knowledge here!
Casey, a sense of humor at what, another lame attempt of a JOKE here?

Hmmm... but when was the last time, anything went well for the Pirates anyway?

Not the ones playing in the Joe!
-I don't know with the Steelers thing, I have noticed that as well, that people try to bring up the Steelers in every single argument...even though the Penguins/Steelers aren't alike at all except the colors and the Pittsburgh reference.

Eh, the weather wasn't so bad.....it was the perfect temperature to hang out and celebrate a Stanley Cup victory. Detroit's weather wasn't all that great, they appeared to be suffering from some Fleury's......

Actually the real gloom is when the Pirates win tonight and the Penguins lose.

Same weather in Cole Harbour so........ I'll be pretty surprised if the Wings lose tonight.....more to do with what happens indoors though.
What I learned today- I would have thought for sure that Detroit would be more than 1MM people.
BTW...if you haven't, go see HANGOVER....frickin' funny!

didn't a million people get murdered in Detroit last night?
Source(s): **actually detroits population is 1,027,974 and it's called sarcasm. I've heard all my life casey was a girls name so that doesn't bother me.** **OH YEA.... your that clever guy who wrote SMELLON instead of mellon. man that was so funny, i wrote that one down so i could remember it. (yet more sarcasm)** **Regardless of how many people are in Detroit, I was being sarcastic and you took it literal. Either you have no sense of humor or you really thought I was being serious in that a million people were murdered in Detroit.** - Anonymous1 decade ago
Penguins lost tonight
