haha, i wanted to ask that question a long time ago. for me, to be honest, i hated kobe before. he was this kid who thinks he can do anything, shoot anywhere, a ball hog. all the negative traits just point to kobe. but deep inside i just hate him for being too damn good! i hate him when they won the 3-peat coz he was clutch. i was like "who the f*ck is this arrogant kid who they say will be next MJ?" i think that some of the haters still love their MJ23 and they were not able to grow up... they still have the stats of MJ in their heads and they always try to measure Kobe's with his.. "MJ was this and kobe was just this.." who cares.. MJ scored this and Kobe's number diminishes... so on.. who the f*cking cares! i became a kobe fan when i saw his 81pts game. we should be thankful to be able to see that in our generation. we missed the 100pts game by wilt before. kobe is just great. and stop the comparison with his airness. he gained my respect already, whether he is still clutch or not.

Everyone thinks Kobe doesn't pass the ball and he whines too much, but that isn't true. He didn't pass the ball because he had a horrible team a while back(Brian Cook Chucky Atkins, Smush Parker etc.) and he doesnt whine, cause when he gets fouls and in the slo mo replays it was clearly a foul the refs never call it, so people are looking at it in a different perspective.

    Whats to hate bout Kobe?

    1)Great Shooter

    2)Passes and Makes Great Plays

    3)Hes a Team Leader

    4)A lot of experience

    5)MVP

To me, Kobe is a great player, not Jordan level but a really...really great player

  • Because hes good. or people are jealous that hes not on their team. Or they have personal reasons why. But mostly because the Lakers are winning. I mean before, when the cavs were in the playoffs, everyone was hating on Lebron and Kobe. And now, since Lebron is out, they hate on Kobe. But i mean, dont even listen to them. If you like a team/player, people's comments shouldnt bother you.

I don't like kobe cause he aired out his grievances in public to Stephen A. Smith about demanding a trade and throwing Andrew bynum under the bus. I don't care who you are you don't talk bad about one of your own teamates like that. Plus the way he played in 2004 finals against the pistons. BAll hogging and taking tons of shots instead of giving it to shaq and it was later learned he was pissed off during that whole series. Kobe reverted back to his old way in game 3 and ball hogged again. When clearly Gasol was awesome in game three but didn't get any touches and odom never got going all because of kobe ball hogging in the 2nd half of game 3 against the magic.

I also hate the determined look at how focused he is all of a sudden. It takes 13 season for him to get motivated to win a championship..WTF. The best don't need to lose by 39 points in game 6 of the finals to find motivation. being in the finals and the best in the game today should be enough motivation. But not kobe.

This wouldn't be that big a deal only the media portrays him has the greatest basketball player to ever walk the earth.

It don't matter. Kobe's one game away from leading his team to a championship. This is also the second year in a row he's led his team to the Finals. they can say what they want, but truth to the matter, Kobe's a legend and nothing they say or do can deny that.

Let me tell all you FU**** haters something 1ST if I was that outstanding at B-Ball and I had a problem with talent on my team please believe I would say something. If I have talent and it’s getting wasted playing with sorry *** players hmmm I better say something it’s his life.

The SLUT that attempted to financially catapult herself to luxuries was crazy because he is a celeb then he is crucified for some dumb nasty ***** who wanted money… who shows up with several seaman samples in their panties? SLUT

Yes he was young and wanted to be the best, he plays nothing like he use to....he has matured and understand allot more now.

Pssss really it comes down to Losers who hate on people…people hate LA period and the Lakers no matter what. To all of you read this and no you’re a loser along with your sorry *** team.

Kobe is without a doubt, one of the best players to play the game of basketball.

That being said, he has done more to ruin his image and reputation than anyone in any sport with that level of talent.

    -Rape Incident

-Shaq/Kobe feud with Shaq being sent away

-Phil Jackson calling him a handful of names in his book, including "the most selfish player I have ever seen"

-Quitting on his team in game 7 in the Suns series a few years back

-Not being genuine, i.e - Trying to create a look "ugly vampire scowl"

-Changing his number from 8 to 24

    -Throwing teammates under the bus

    -Demanding trades

Kobe has always been about himself, his entire career, and that turns people off. Its not that because he is great, it is the way he carries himself and acts. What other player with his level of talent is hated as much? ZERO. He was on a list of the most hated athletes in all of sports recently, and that is not without good reason.

He should be as popular as the greats in any sport, but he isn't and he has himself to blame.

    everyone hates a winner.

Kobe is amazing and he knows it, so that sort of turns off people.

also people have their teams, and when kobe and the lakers beat their team, they've gotta blame somebody.

i personally think kobe is awesome

    1) Because he is too cocky. He is delusional.

    2) Because he has a bad attitude.

    3) Because he ball hogs sometimes, even when he is double team and a man is open on the 3, he still takes the shot.

    4) Because complains about calls that he obviously violates.

    5) Because his personality is just boring (personally). He says very little and look emotionless in some of his interviews.
