What site has NAV ticker symbol lookup?
There are ticker symbols like XPHKX which represent NAV for
closed end fund PHK. I need to find a ticker for NAV of AINV
Apollo Investments.
AINV is a BDC, has a net asset value, publishes
the NAV quarterly, and I want to find the value
daily. Can you provide the site that has a catalog of these tickers (e.g. XEADX for EAD)
I wish to thank responders and to revise my
question leaving out the particular security
(AINV) from consideration.
In short what site is a source for ticker symbols
for NAVs?
TIA

It's not a fund, so they don't calculate their nav daily. It wouldn't very useful if they did. They invest in various debt instruments and in non public companies among other things. Since much of their holdings are not publicly traded or even traded regularly at all, there is no way to accurately value them in order to know the nav. Even quarterly, it is a best efforts attempt at valuations of holdings to come up with an nav. Net asset value is only meaningful on closed funds and ETFs and open ended mutual funds.

AINV is the STOCK ticker symbol for Apollo Investments. NAVs are for mutual funds.

ETFconnect.com does not give ticker symbols for NAVs, but they have the published NAVs updated daily for ETFs and closed end funds.
I don't think all ETF sponsors publisher NAV tracking tickers, so hopefully this source helps!
