What does Bernie think of his medals system now?
Surely even he must admit to its stupidity now Button has won 6 of the first 7 races. Yes, Button will probably end up champion either way, but at least this way the fight continues into the second half of the year.

Only taught about this after Button won in Turkey, he'd just have the championship sewn up according to Bernie. Have to admit that I would have loved to hear all the cr@p that would have been bantered around if the medals were introduced.
Not a fan of Buttons but after the last few years I hope that Brawn GP & Jenson win this year, & that Rubins gets a few wins in as well.

That medal system is the most ridiculous half baked nonsense ever thrown at the sport and there has been some half baked nonsense over the last 10-12 years.
You are right, with the engine limit, 2 retirements from Button, 2 wins from Barrichello/ Vettel/ Webber and its game on!

I doubt that he has changed his mind. He first had this bounce through his brain roughly 30 years ago. I first heard about it after Alan Jones finished third in the title chase in 1979 despite more wins than anyone else. Then it got serious air play after Keke Rosberg won the title with one victory in 1982.
