If we are experiencing global warming, how come the earth is not getting warmer?
Note the seasonal highs and seasonal lows. Sure doesn't look as though any catastrophic change is going on. Yeah, 1998 was hot, but 2007 was very cold. Seems to be going up and down not with CO2 (the lower line on the chart), which has steadily increased, but with the sun spots which increase and decrease every 11 years..
See for yourselves...

LOL this is why you don't get your science information from junk science.
What the hell is that even graphing? It claims to be NCDC global mean, which you can see direct from NCDC right here:
http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/img/climate/research/glob...
Doesn't quite look the same, does it? Well gee, should we believe the source of the information, or junkscience.com? Tough call.
Actually they are plotting the same thing, and both prove the planet is warming. The average global temperature goes from 14 to 14.5 deg C in the junk science plot, and 0 to 0.5 deg C anomaly in the actual NCDC plot. The only difference is that the junkscience figure doesn't average out the data (I don't even know how he makes those oscillations) so it's harder to see the warming trend.
This kind of garbage is why it's impossible to take deniers seriously.

properly that is a sluggish technique yet i might say around 20 to 30 years. I purely heard a statistic that worldwide CO2, somewhat than shrink, went up 3% final year, particularly because of China, India and different coming up international locations, even the scientists who've been working in this for some years at the instant are understanding that issues are taking place quicker that even they envisioned.

I was in Chicago last week and it was barely in the 70s at day and in the low 50s at night. The week before I was in upper Wisconsin and it was 39 in the AM and low 60s during the day. The same week I was in Laredo Tx and it was only 85........where is this warming? In TN it was has reached the 90s only a few times yet we set record lows this winter.......
News Flash: No sun spots means cooler times ahead people just like in the 70s and the 1700s when the Deleware River froze.....

Have to agree with ned. Here in Wisconsin, we had a very cold winter, and this Spring has been cool as well.
Global Warming is fading, cooling is coming, you can feel it...
just like in 1998, you could feel a warming trend, seems it has flipped, this started in 2008...
Cooling cycle is next, and the sunspots are weak, very weak.

Are you sure that's the link you wanted? As others have pointed out it does look different than the NCDC graphs. But anyway when I look at the most recent decade and compare it with previous decades, it sure looks warmer to me. Just looking at the maxima, nothing from before 1996 even comes close to what we're experiencing now. The funny things is that since the solar cycle is and has been low (as you alluded to), that makes today's warm temperatures seem even more anomalously warm. Are you sure you're not trying to prove the other side?

You are absolutely right. The Earth is currently in a Cooling phase. The Alarmists know this, but are down-playing this fact in order to keep the grant money flowing. The politicians will ride the AGW hoax as long as they can for the huge tax revenues that they will pull from our wallets. The liberal media will push AGW because catastrophes attract more viewers/listeners.

Put a trend line on that data and you would find some correlation with the CO2. Is that what you are trying to say? Don't let the scales of the graph fool you.

because global warming is a MYTH. the fluctuations in the earths temperature pattern is normal. its been happening since the beginning of time. not saying we shouldnt watch what we put into the atmosphere, but its not as big of a deal that democrats make it out to be
Source(s): we did a study on this in my Earth Science class http://www.truth-it.net/arguments_against_global_w... - Ottawa MikeLv 61 decade ago
Global warming alarmists are now the new global cooling deniers. It keeps them sane and on agenda.
