whenever I talk to someone it is like I am interviewing them (what can I do to change this?)?
It seems like it is only a one way conversation, I will ask them plenty of questions about themselves that they always like to answer. However they never turn around and ask anything about me or my life, and I can never get it. What can I do to change this?

I have a feeling that you are a fast talker... give them a chance to respond and also ask open ended questions that require them to talk more: i.e.
Where did you buy that shirt?
Who did you go to the movies with?
Where are you going to college? Why?
Instead of:
Did you go to the movies last night? "yes"
Did you by the shirt at Abercrombie? "no"

I've been in your shoes and I've also been an offender of not asking the question back.
Sometimes after I've left the person's side I realize what an Oaf I am.
I would suggest that you say something about yourself and then ask them about themselves. For an example "I love Rocky Road Ice cream, it's my favorite and I'd do anything for it. Do you have a favorite Ice Cream?"
Obviously you don't have to talk about ice cream but you get the general idea.
Of course, sometimes there are just people out there where having a conversation with them is a lot like pulling teeth.
Good luck and happy conversing!

well ppl r selfish. they like 2 talk about themselves, nd brag. if u wanna change it, say sumthing about ur self, relate compare make jokes u know. make jokes say funny stories. then 1 thing would lead 2 another nd u 'd have a real conversation.
