Are you in a job where customers just expect you to remember them.?
I work in mobile repairs. and every day i get at least 4 customers who simply say i'm here to pick up my phone as if i should remember them. I do how ever also serve close to 150 customers a day. Are you in a job where customers simply expect you to remember them.

obviously, you can't remember them all.... nor is it expected
but just do your best to provide good customer service. when they say they are here to pick up thier phone say, ''okay, cool... can i have your last name?''
don't make a big deal of it.

Yes i used to work in a job like that.
Just pretend like you had a slip of memory and ask them to remind you of their name...apologize.
(unfortunately) the customer is always right
