Is it okay for petty boss to alter my name on my timesheet?

I work at a small museum and my boss has no real skill to be a good curator and she rubs lots of people the wrong way. Anyhow, when I print my name on the time sheet, I don't dot my i or cross my j. In her petty superiority, she will put huge dots over my i's and cross my j's. Is this legal?

Update:

it's very obvious that it's an i. my name is clear. i'm not conforming.

it is ok and legal if she keeps that time sheets and especially if that time sheet is to be sent to another area to key into the computer system. She may not want someone to confuse your letter i with l (if without a dot).

If I were u, just dot your i and j next time.....

If I may, I would like to offer you an elderly advice, just do whatever your boss pleases because, otherwise, he/she could make your life and career miserable.

Nothing illegal about that.. If she fiddles with your times, that's a different story.

yes, as long as she is not altering your actual hours.
