On NASCAR cards I notice that...?
They replace the Budweiser logo with KKR logo on Kasey's cards. Also, when Clint Bowyer was driving the Jack Daniel's car, they just blotted that out. So why don't they edit the Miller Lite logo off Kurt Busch?
I am talking about the cards only, not diecast.

They do. On the kid's version of diecasts they replace the beer text with the driver name. They've done it with Jr., KK, Kurt, CB, and whoever else has an alcohol sponsor. Go on ebay and do a search for the cards and diecasts; you'll see they do it for all of them.
SOME diecasts do have the beer sponsors, but those are designated the adult collectibles. The companies have various diecast lines. I'm not sure if the same thing go for the cards since I don't collect cards.
They did the same thing with Mark Martin's Viagra car. The kids version said Pfizer on the hood.
edit: You seem to have a point with the Kurt Busch cards. I can find diecasts with "Kurt" on the hood, but no cards without the "Lite." Very interesting. I'm gonna have to look into that.
Here is a rather interesting article: http://sports.espn.go.com/rpm/news/story?wc=true&i... .
It doesn't mention trading cards, but it's informative about how NASCAR handles alcohol sponsors. Apparently, they leave it up to someone else. It may be that allowing Kurt Busch cards with the beer logo on it is Miller beer's decision.

I don't know about the NASCAR cards but it kills me that I cannot find a single #07 1:64 diecast because it is sponsored by Jack Daniel's. I can't even find anything with just the driver's name on it. I think the rule is kind of stupid.

...There are 2 versions of NASCAR collectables.
There is the general production. These cover the alcohol or tobacco product on the cars.Normally the drivers name is put into the logo.
The next level is an adult collectable. This type has the alcohol logos and names on the card and other collectable.

About two years ago, an acqaintance of ours was selling off his Nascar collection in order to move to Georgia. I went over there with $200 and got a bunch of die casts and such. He had just about any driver you could want. (He wasn't selling his Dale Sr autographed die cast. Rats!) Anyhow, he did have two identical Rusty Wallace Miller Lite cars but the only difference was one had Miller Lite and the other didn't. It had something else and I really don't remember what it was. He did mention the two cars and why they had to market two different die casts because of the beer sponsor. I really didn't think much about it and didn't get either one. And I haven't thought about that until you're question. Interesting.

It is a responsiblity because they are adult beverages and anyone under 21 should not have them. They did that with Dale Jr. when he drove the #8 Budweiser Chevrolet. You have to be 21 to enter the Budweiser.com website.
