Is anyone else disappointed...?
I thought it was bogus when Red Bull cut A.J. Allmendinger last year without giving him a fair chance. He worked his rear off the rest of the season trying to find a permanent ride. He started out the same this year, but it seems like since he got RPM to sign him, he hasn't been trying as hard. I really was pulling for him, and I was so glad to see him get a deal. Now, I kind of wish they'd not signed him so they would have more to spend on Kasey!
4 AnswersNASCAR1 decade agoOn NASCAR cards I notice that...?
They replace the Budweiser logo with KKR logo on Kasey's cards. Also, when Clint Bowyer was driving the Jack Daniel's car, they just blotted that out. So why don't they edit the Miller Lite logo off Kurt Busch?
10 AnswersNASCAR1 decade agoGM cutting factory support in NNS?
Do you think this will spread to Sprint Cup? I saw an article a little bit ago on Yahoo! Sports saying they had cut support of KHI and JRM.
My driver is Kasey Kahne, which Dodge has not been giving RPM much support for some time now.
9 AnswersNASCAR1 decade agoIs calling Junior the "face" of Nascar not an insult to the "faces" of other sports?
Article listed Peyton Manning (NFL) Tiger Woods (PGA) Derek Jeter (MLB) and Kobe Bryant (NBA). These gentlemen win more than popularity contests. Their drive and determination is evident in every play of every game. I can't stand Jimmie Johnson, but at least he IS a champion. Not years ago in the farm leagues, but right now in the majors. Not to mention he has more than twice the wins in two seasons less.
18 AnswersNASCAR1 decade agoWho is your favourite Nascar driver?
Mine is Kasey Kahne. The difference in my question is, I'd like you to try to convince me why your driver should also be my driver. Not something like 'Carl Edwards backflips when he wins' or 'Tony Stewart because he drives a Chevy.' Those are valid points, but I'm looking for a detailed argument in your driver's favour- more than one simple reason. Anything about his car, performance, charitable activities, intelligence, hometown, sponsors, appearance- whatever you think should sway my opinion. :)
16 AnswersNASCAR1 decade agoNascar and the auto industry bailout..?
Does it bother anyone else that GM took all that bailout money, but has not curtailed its Nascar involvement? I haven't heard plans for them to get new sponsors for the races they put on or anything.
