What would you do in my situation? (question about moving and finance)?
I was not sure where to put this question!
I moved to Bend Oregon about 3 months ago.I moved here cause my step mom lives here and needs help (she is like a real mom to me)
I moved here from Texas, where the neighborhood wasn't so great but I really could afford to live there. Now,I'm in Bend, having a hard time finding full time work and I can't afford to live here with the high cost of utilities and food.
I also have a judgment against me which they will start collecting on soon.(Texas does not allow the collection of debt by garnishee wages)
I'm debating on whether to save my money and go back to Texas,or make the most of it here.I'm confused and would love some feedback from others on what you would do!!.Thanks for your time!

Hell, if I had the option and the ability.... I'd go back to texas ( and that hurts to say because I've never been a fan of Texas, but you've got some mighty good sounding options).
maybe ask your step mom( mom) to go with you? is that an option? If she owns a home, maybe she could rent or sell? It is a huge change.,.... but have you mentioned that option to her?
What about bankruptcy? Does that take care of garnishments?
