What is the best fake tan for very pale skin?

I always end up looking patchy after a couple of days because I'm Scottish and very pale - anything else out there?

Loreal makes a really nice "self tanning" product. They have it in an aerosol spray or in a lotion. I have extremely pale skin, but I tan in the beds. However, I don't actually "tan" in the beds unless I use accelorator. I use NuvoBronz Maxima and it gets me EXTREMELY DARK really fast!

I can recommend Johnsons Holiday Skin, I used it about 3 times a week during the summer months and I received loads of compliments saying how tanned I looked! It doesn't streak either, just make sure you rub it in well. I've also had spray tans done, professionally, and although it is abit embarassing standing there in the nude, it is another great method that gives a great colour. But as ever, it is only as good as the person doing the spraying, so try and go to a tanning salon that has been recommended for their spray tanning. It can cost approx £20 for a spray tan and it will last about 5 days. Personally I would go for the Johnsons, purely as its cheaper! Although spray tans are good for 'special' occassions, wedding, christening etc. I am a redhead and use the normal-dark colour. Yes - you can go in the pool, have showers, with Johnsons on, it will gradually fade unless you keep applying it.

Jergens has so much chemicals in them, and the smell is disgusting personally.

Dove's self tanner works really well for a few days but then you have to scrub it all off ands reapply or else it gets patchy.

Try spray on tans at home, like Sally Hansen or even MAC

I used Piz Buin mousse because I am whiter than white! I found if I applied it everyday, after about 3 days I had a lovely tan and got lots of compliments :D

Rio Tan, Alba Botanica, Fake Bake or Devoted Creations. None of them have any parabens!

Jergen's & Loreal products both have lots of chemicals in them; Make sure that none of the products you use on your skin or hair contain any of these widely used toxic ingredients!:
