Airsoft Rate of Fire?
if i get a stronger spring would i have to get a stronger battery to maintain the same rate of fire?
Example:
lets say i get 15 shots per second in a gun with 360 fps, but then i upgrade it to shoot 400 fps. would i need to get a stronger battery to get 15 fps out of the upgraded one?

Depending on the battery you've got, you might not need to, but you will for sure lose a lot of time from the battery. The rate of fire may very well stay constant, but your battery will die a lot quicker, so the best thing would be to get a new one.

depends on the upgrade but generally speaking yes. any upgrade of more than 20fps or so definitly needs it, but any upgrade whatsoever probably could use it.
Source(s): recently had this problem with my p90, although that was a big jump (280fps to +400fps)
