Is baby moving as much as he should?

I'll be 28 weeks pregnant this Sunday. I read somewhere that the most movement occurs between 24-28 weeks because as the baby grows, he has less room to move around. I have been feeling him move, but his kicks aren't really always super strong. Every once in a while I'll get a strong one, but not too often. I'm not overweight either. I'm just nervous that his kicks and punches should be much stronger by now. People keep asking me questions like "oh, have you gotten a good kick in the ribs yet?" My answer is no. I haven't had anything really uncomfortable. Should I be worried?

I don't find the kicks uncomfortable..the flipping from breech to normal is uncomfortable.

If you're getting 10 movements (not kicks..you can't tell the difference between a kick and a hand movement really) within an hour laying on your side or after drinking something sweet -- everything is fine.

Some babies are super active, some not so much.

No hun, you should not be worried at all. Room is getting hard to find for your little one. I was never even kicked in the ribs when I was pregnant. I was kicked allot tho. It tickled more than it hurt lol

    Everything is fine!

    Congrats

  • It's 10 movements a day (in 3rd trimester), not 10 movements every 2 hours. I think you're probably fine since you've been feeling some movement at least. Some babies aren't as active as others.

Your baby is just fine... With my first pregnancy, I didn't feel to many hard kicks either.. with my second, they were a little stronger. Everyone and every pregnancy is different.
