the father is in prison

and im waiting for help from the state but i may only get food stamps

    go to the local social services. perhaps they can help, or a church. also, the father should be helping to take care of his child. he's responsible for 1/2 or more of everything. start utilizing this. like child support. doesn't matter if he's in the picture or not.
