google keeps redirecting my search links?

I am having a problem with Google redirects. Almost every time I do a google search, when I click on a search result, I get redirected to another site. If I open the hyperlink into a new tab, the tab will be tittled "Jumping" and takes me to a website like: http://www.strikingoffers.com/

I have done some research and found tons of people are having this problem. The solution seems very complicated and something to do with malware?

is there anywhere that will take me step by step on getting this problem cleared up?

Thanks

Update:

yes! thank you! I downloaded spyware doctor and ran it. that took care of the problem! thank youuuu!!!!!

You are correct on the malware thing. Your internet browser is infected with malware and it redirects your searches away from Google. You need to run antivirus to remove it. I recommend trying Malwarebytes

I've experienced this before. I hate to say it but you may have a virus and/or malware on your computer. I had this issue when I downloaded Perfect Defender 2009, which turned out to be a fake antivirus that would redirect me to infected websites. What's also a bummer is the fact that probably all of those sites you get redirected to give you viruses. My solution would be to find a trustworthy antivirus and do a full computer scan.

Download, install, update and then run a full system scan with the free SUPERAntispyware: http://www.superantispyware.com/

See what it finds and remove the redirector. That should take care of it.
