What cement facility was used for housing of clones in movie "The Island"?

One of my favorite movies directed by Michael Bay, THE ISLAND, with Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson, has a large cement facility, maybe a mall, that is the compound where all the clones live.

Does anyone know the details of that facility like where it is and what it is? Also, does anyone know what part of the desert it was filmed in?

I love movie details.

    believe in movie magic.. it was built on a huge sound stage to mask the feeling of realism..Michael Bay 101

    The cement facility is a sound stage, but the desert scenes were filmed in Nevada.
