Would the world be perfect if the stories in the bible were true?

Uh, no. The Bible is very clear that the world is NOT perfect, and explains WHY.

So, if the Bible is true, then this world should not seem perfect to us. We should expect to see pain, death, injustice, etc.

If you folks are going to come on here and poke fun at the Bible, you should at least have a clue what it says!

When you were little, people told you stories that had a moral -- for instance, what happened to Little Red Riding Hood when she strayed off the path her mother sent her on. Is the story literally true? No, but it teaches an important truth. Many Bible stories are literally true -- after all they're histories of the Israelites. But even the ones that aren't literally true -- for instance the story of Adam and Eve -- contain important truths. So to answer your question, the stories ARE true -- just not in the limited and less important way you mean.

Have you even read the Bible? I would guess you haven't because the Bible isn't all lovely like you think it is.

The stories in the bible truly show us how imperfect man has made this world.

The stories ARE true, however it's non-believers in them that make the world the unpleasant place it is.
