Ive spent over 15 years studying Religions, psychology, consciousness, and also how it all ties into science. Anything having to do with Spirit, and the way it is experienced all over the world. What is God? A more important question to ask right now is "What ISN"T God?" Ask yourself that, and you'll have your answer.
I broke my wrist and no health insurance, can I just buy a brace?
I can pay for an office visit probably, but I dont think its necessary, there is little swelling and it just aches, really. Ive broken my other wrist in the exact same manner, so I know for sure its broken. Would it be ok if I just bought a really strong wrist brace?
1 AnswerInjuries9 years agoIs Facebook the cause of many fights, drama, divorce, and cheating?
I think not.
I dont think Facebook is the cause of divorce, or fights or drama. I think Facebook forces honesty and people don't like it. It forces you to have conversations you wouldnt normally otherwise have had. It forces you to be responsible for things that you have said, and have done.
What do you think?

Is perception the difference, or is coincidence just perception?
When coincidence turns into syncronicity, where is line drawn between coincidence and extraordinary? Or even mystical? Or spiritual?

But could the student also be considered the master, since to teach is to learn also?
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs it worth it to pray for others?
There is evidence that positive self talk and participating in holistic healing practices lead to faster self recovery.
However there is no evidence that directing this kind of energy (praying for someone) towards another person helps at all. I don't think its possible to test outside influence on recovery from illness. You could isolate people to one illness, and one doctor even did it. He had a control group of people who were "not prayed for". But it is impossible to isolate someone who is "not prayed for" becuase there are some people in the world who pray for the safety and wellbeing of the entire planet, all people included.
There is a school of thought involving quantum physics and mechanics that just simply believing something makes it true. Its still just a 'good idea' at this point.
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow do I get the abusive narcissist to recognize himself?
He agreed to relationship counseling, but Im pretty sure its because he thinks Im the abusive one. Its so confusing, trying to have a conversation with him. He changes his story sometimes in the middle of the sentence, and get so hung up on details, the conversation could go on for hours. Its exhausting. And usually the second I begin to gain some ground, or some understanding with him, he bolts, saying Im bothering him, or "why now?" kinda thing.
Is counseling worth it?

14 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoDo you think Yahoo Answers would benefit from having more space for open discussions?
As integrated into the current question and answer form, or as a separate function such as an "Open discussion" link? I would love to see a place where discussions weren't limited to editing your answer and adding details to your question.
Would it work? Does Yahoo have thoughts on this I havent noticed in the fine print?
What are your thoughts on this?
