What is the message of Jesus Christ?

"I studied religion for years while going to school and continue to be fascinated by the notion of a "higher entity." A couple of points most Christians are sadly unaware of: Okay, all of you out there. Take a deep breath, here goes.

1. Y'sua Ben Yosef (or Jesus the Son Of Joseph) is his given historical name. This is not simply a biblical reference. It also shows up in Roman records.

2. His followers referred to him as "Rabbi." He was. Rabbi means teacher.

3. The Cross is NOT a creation of Jesus, or his followers. It was mandated by (probably) Caesar Constantine (the same guy Constantinople the city was named after) around 312 AD. That's three hundred years later. Constantine, by the way, was one of the latter day Roman Caesars who converted to Christianity and FORCED the Roman Empire to become Christian...under pain of death. In one fell swoop, the Roman Empire became the Holy Roman Empire and all Roman soldiers became soldiers of Christ..."onward Christian soldiers." Never mind that Christ said he preferred turning swords into plowshares.

Constantine changed the HEBREW SABBATH, which Jesus and his followers followed and instituted the ROMAN SABBATH (now commonly followed by Christians as Sunday), because the Romans were used to Sunday...The Day of the Sun God...get it? The Sabbath, by definition (remember it's a Hebrew word -- Hebrew, 'cause the people came from Hebron).

Constantine also created what is commonly referred to as The Church. He placed it very close to where Romans routinely threw entire populations of Christians to death in the arenas. He created the notion that a "ruling person" like himself, had the ear of God...and that you must first go through him, to get to Jesus, who then passes on the info to God. Remember, "I am the way to my father" Jesus said.

Jews, by the way, mostly agree with Christians (who were originally all Jews themselves) with the notion of God. Both worship "The Father." Jews simply don't worship Jesus, Mary or any of the Saints.

Until Constantine, followers of Christ were Jewish and used the Star of David as their religious symbol.

The most shocking part of religious history is the phrase ROMAN CATHOLIC. Catholic comes from the Latin "Universal." In point of fact, Roman Catholic simply means THE ROMAN UNIVERSAL religion...by definition.

And most important of all, I'm sure you'll agree, is simply that Jesus, the living Rabbi or Messiah (coming from the Jewish Messianic sects that produced hundreds of other Jews proclaiming themselves the Messiah at the same time Jesus was alive) never intended his objections and or complaints about Judaism to be for anyone else. In other words, whatever Jesus preached and whatever Jesus did was meant for Jews alone. He never intended his "message" for the "GOEEM" ..the Gentile. It was Paul, I believe, who changed and took "the Master's" message to the Gentile. As far as Jesus was concerned, this was Jewish business. Not for outsiders. He wanted to change the structure of the Jewish Temple of the time.

And, I'll end with a suggestion to read a fascinating book (one of my favorites) JESUS' BROTHER JAMES. Yes. He had brothers and probably a sister or two. Don't believe me? Read the New Testament. I have.

And most importantly, don't be afraid of information: It will make you a better religious person. It will deepen your beliefs, whatever they may be."

We are all ONE. We are all Gods. When we see another we seeing a mirror of our self.

Ask & have faith & you shall receive. We keep evolving if we get the lesson & can keep it. If not we just keep repeating the lesson.

We could walk on water if we evolved to that level.

Prosperity is a state of consciousness. When you pray do not ask a God outside of you but pray from the God within you. Life is for being here in the NOW, the present moment.

Republicans are the opposite of what true Christianity is about. Their are some who are naive' but most live in greed & the lie about that. They give to others for attention. They take off charity from their taxes when they really haven't give. Then they say libs. don't give when libs don't take the tax deductions. Republicans can show us what the opposite of true Christianity is & they are sad.

We don't need to go out & convert anyone. We have nothing to be saved from. We are safe. We are healed but the blocks in our mind, our error thoughts cause the problems. When we live right all is well.

Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand

I know you love Jesus and the message he preached on earth is found in the Bible book of Matthew chapter 4 verse 17. " 17 From that time on Jesus commenced preaching and saying: “Repent, YOU people, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.” Jesus was getting people ready for the rule of God.
