How do I scan a picture and then send it to facebook?

I have this old picture that I want to show my friends on facebook. So I scanned it already and I have it saved under my documents. Now how do I transfer it to a message so I can inbox people (and btw I tried copy/cut paste) Thanks a lot!!

Update:

You would could just upload it to your pictures

If it's in your photos then you can let them view it there and you wouldn't need to send it in a message. But you can either upload it to facebook or a photo hosting website and post the url into the post link button in the message

you mean to scan a pic r to scan it for viruses?? Normal scanning of the pic needs a scanner. After scanning it using a scanner it can be uploaded to facebook by clicking on photos

If you scan it it's gonna be a file on your computer, so if you go under facebook and hit upload under pictures, and then find the file then it'll be there under pictures.

You would get a scanner and scan a picture in your computer. Then, post it on Facebook.

Since you have already saved it where you will be able to find it, now just sign into facebook, and go to add images and upload it. Easy as pie ! Rock
