If you develop an allergy to nickel can you still get a tattoo? Why or why not? Thank You!?

Update:

I've not gotten a tattoo since I've developed the allergy, I was just wondering since a needle would penetrate the skin and whether there was any metallic particles that lingered in the ink after it heals.

You should be able to get a tattoo just fine. You should check with your tattoo artist first though, and make sure they use equipment that will not harm you.

To the reply above. Absolutely NO one could thoroughly state what percent of the populace has an allergic reaction to nickel(permit by myself some other substance). Do you actually feel any person is contacting NAET and BIOSET practitioners(amongst many others) who realize and relieve allergy symptoms day-to-day in hundreds and hundreds of individuals?
