Will you guys share some good thoughts about Srilanka with me?

First of all, very hearty congratulations on the eve of a great win! At least, the Pakistani people needed such moral boosting event for many months now amid one after mishaps those we all came to know through TV coverage.

It is indeed a good thing we saw that there were less shenanigan (mischievous or dubious behaviour) from both the team players, that in a way reduced the frenzy too those we see when India is playing...lol.

Thanks to respondent "!Oz!" here who brought back the bitterness prevailing among nations of South Asia. Though his post here may contain some truth but it reminded us as to why these two nations (India & Pakistan) are literally fighting each others for over 60 years now. I'm sorry to have brought this political angle of the relationship here, but there was no way one can justify the rant of !Oz!.

About Sri Lanka, I do hope that the younger cricketers would get more encouragement since their nation has overcome a long turmoil where it was the battlefront of LTTE that would surface at the back of their mind in all these years. Ask any Afghan cricketers or other players and they can tell you as to why it is difficult to concentrate on games when the home is burning.

We hope that if Indians would keep on distancing us (Bangladesh, Pakistan & Sri Lanka) and thinks that they are now Brahmin of the world nation, then we would have left with no choice than to bundle our efforts together and face the Indian taunts on and off the playing fields.

My prediction: Last year it was India and this year it is Pakistan and next year it may be Sri Lanka that would snatch the T20 Championship!

SL is an amazing team. The likes of Sangakarra, Jayawardene and Dilshan gives Sri Lanka an amazing batting lineup and we all know about thier bowling line up too with Murali, Mendis, Malinga, Kulasekara etc. A real force in cricket and they will do very well in the near future.

I have many good thoughts about the SL team. I have always said here that they are one of my favourite teams. Although they didn't win the WC, the fact is they did reach the final, which neither Australia,India or SA did. All those teams were ranked above them, so they did very well.Congrats to both teams for playing in the spirit of the game

SL played good cricket in this tour. i think it was a nice experience to the younger players in the team. these experiences will help them to do well in their career. lankan players influenced this tour from the begging.they beat world champion Ausies and Windies in the league and they beat the Paks in super 8s. I think the new younger players were panicked at the final.anyway , all the very best to the SL to do well in the champion's trophy.

For your question, i don't say luck, but maybe the form our batsmen were in effected us this time.... previously we somehow came through this time though it was amazing to have made 140 we still lacked 20 odd runs!!!!

!oz! boy tell me which is better from the following...

a overrated team winning 2 games in a row against minnows and losing 3 in a row against strong teams rather kicked in the butt!!!

or

as you say a minnow team winning 6 games in a row against not so overrated teams and loosing in the finals agaisnt as you say another minnow!!!

i was highly offended because chris aint jesus and i took that as a mock against him and second of all i dont believe in evolution because we still have monkies in the zoo and we all had equal time to evolve so that proves that wrong but anyways it was unnecessary and chris angels tricks are staged david blanes are more simple thus being reel sly of hand theres to much camera work involved with chris angel i could have easily done that trick with clear plastic and walked on it thus allowing swimmers to swim thru and also i would habe broken up the plastic so that the people could walk thru its all just crap

very well performed throughout tournament and have capability to win any big tournament SL with great batsmen, varieties bowling, very good Fielding but they defeated better team .

Sri Lankans are finalist in both world cups of the game.They are a great and consistent performer in major events.Congratulations to them and thank you for your thoughts.

Srilanka is the most well behaved cricket team. Their cricket fans are the best and they are most pure and appreciated neighbor anyone could ask for it. I wish Srilanka all the best and may they win the next world cup.
