what is the best way to get rid of sunburn, w/out using Aloe Vera gel or whats it called ummm....solercain gel maybe? I'm allergic to both and it hurts really bad like a 9 on a scale of 1-10

Soaking in a cold bath will help, and putting a thin layer of a lotion you are not allergic to will help as well. Basically, you fried the top layer of skin and overloaded the nerves underneath. The best thing you can do is not to pick or scratch (and it will get VERY itchy when it starts to heal) and keep the skin hydrated (with aforementioned methods).

you might think this is strange but i use a home remedy, milk of magnesia and that helps.
