Proposal Ideas Please!?
I'm thinking about proposing in the next month or so. I really could use some ideas or help. I don't want it to be a public thing. Please tell me where you got the idea as well. Thanks

I'm sure you want to make it both special and memorable for her. So step one is to think of some things she really enjoys, likes to do, or wants to do.
I've known two guys who proposed on or after a horse drawn carriage ride because both gals "always" wanted to ride in a horse drawn carriage and had never had the chance.
Another guy took his girlfriend on a walk on a beautiful nature path because she loved to go on walks with him. Beforehand, friends had sat a folding table complete with table cloth and china. They had picked up dinner from a favorite restaurant nearby for a "picnic." When they got to the table, the friends had just left (planned), so he confessed that it was for them. Sometime during or after dinner he proposed.
Another friend took his gal for a walk on their favorite beach. He had taken a long branch along. When it was time, he drew a big heart in the sand and laughingly carried her into the heart. When he put her down, he got on his knee and proposed.
Another proposed under a favorite tree on their college campus. He had written a poem to read to her. Then proposed.
One young man knew his girlfriend loved historic homes. He also had a "hint" that she would love to get married in a certain historic church in a nearby community. After dinner one evening, he drove out to the historic church where he had a dessert picnic he pulled from the trunk of his car. As they sat on the steps of the church and ate their dessert, he proposed there.
One thing in common with all these stories is the guy figured out something that was special to his girlfriend. And he used that as a setting.

I'm a technology geek. So my proposal to my girlfriend will involve a video. In the video will involve me tinkering with a computer, there will be a monologue that will represent my thoughts as I'm trying to fix a computer. At the end of the film, My character will get frustrated with the computer and walk away, on the screen will be the "question".
So my answer to you is to use your skills/talents to propose.

Yes, I agree with the above person... Take her out to dinner or on a picnic and then pop the question.

go for a walk on the beach [if you have one]
the dinner one is always a classic
set up a scavenger hunt or like a treasure map.
