I doubt they would do much at all, for several reasons:
1) What country wouldn't defend itself if attacked first?
2) I don't think they much like North korea anyway!
3) Too much to lose..trade wise.
4) Nobody wants total nuclear war. All country's want to preserve their way of life, and nothing would be left if a global nuclear war happened.

China is not willing to engage in a war with the US, and because of this they will not allow the North to do anything (they can't hit us with a nuke by the way) as it would bring about the full wrath of the US, North Korea is very close to China, and any nuclear attacks on them would affect the US.
It is appearing more and more each day that China will end this by ringing in their pet North Korea, hopefully by attacking the and replacing their leader.

Its a very trickly question. interior the final Korean conflict China did sent troops then the North Korean forces there pushed decrease back to the Korean-chinese language Boarder. They did this with the aid of fact they in fact did no longer choose u . s . forces on there doorstep. yet for the reason that then the worldwide has replaced. although there's a ceasefire on the 2d, that could properly be broken legally via the two edge that shouldn't ensue till something undesirable happens. The chinese language are extra of a political best pal than a militia, if conflict did spoil out lower back they're extra in all probability to deliver militia components and help. If issues have been given to the factor of there the u . s . forces the place somewhat to close for convenience then could in all probability think of approximately that to do next. The anti-Korean sediment you communicate of in keeping with risk with the aid of a decrease back lash of the Olympic protests in South Korea, in maximum cases the South Korean protesters there no longer protesting approximately concerning the riots in Tibet yet concerning the undeniable fact that China has a habit of sending if North Korean reguees (sp) caught in China decrease back dwelling house there they could in all probability be positioned to loss of existence or put in labour camps. additionally ingredient is that a number of the professional-China scholar protesters have been deported from South Korea with the aid of launching actual assaults against South Korea human beings. I even have viewed video clips there a mob assaults a individual in a lodge and yet another there an previous guy is attacked. although the percentages of the conventional individual in China shouldn't earnings one in all those stuff.

Easy way to solve the North Korea issue: Tell China they can invade and have them. At least Chinese rule would be a little better than what they have now. You know China would go for it since they all out took Tibet.

China is against it, they have stated that. They will only back N. Korea in that ATTEMPT if we attack first.
And N. Korea needs China if we were to go to war, even though China is with N. Korea they won't go to war with the U.S. until it's deemed necessary and we'd have N. Korea wiped out by then. N. Korea doesn't have the military funding or troops to go to war with us alone, they need China.

China's ambassadors would chastize N. Korea in the press but would not take action against N. korea

I think China will be all over them like a cheap suit. Obviously they don't relish the thought of a nuclear armed NK.

i dont know what china would do but they might take a lesson from obama and send stern letters in red ink to n korea

Depends on how it happens, but mostly I don't see China siding with N. Korea on this one, they will have alienated themselves.

That is a tough one. I think that the relations between the US and China are better than the relations between NK and China.
