Avoiding excessive sun exposure, hot beverages, alcohol, stress would help. Metronidazole cream could be applied locally. Steroid creams like hydro cortisone will worsen rosacea. There are very effective prescription-only medicines. (Tacrolimus ointment, Low-dose Isotrtionoin orally)

I agree you should see a Dermatologist, And also you can try some Astringent weekly and a facial moisturizer daily. And if you use make-up i recommend mineral make-up for Rosacea patients.

You need to go to a Dermatologist.
They have the best stuff and pills for your skin, and they can even customize the treatments for your type of skin.
Trust me my mom, had rosecea, and now you cant even notice it, her skin i soft and beautiful!

You should avoid direct contact from the sun,chocolate, alcohol drinks and spicy food.
