Overdue, hoping to beat the induction, any advice?

My induction is scheduled for Monday and I'm really hoping to go into labor on my own before then. I have had sensitivity to pain meds in the past and was hoping for a natural birth this time and I know it's a more painful process to be induced. Plus I am worried about it leading to me needing a c section and I want to avoid that desperately.

But my fluid levels are teetering on the very low end of normal and I have a history of big babies. I'm very small and my last was 9.5 pounds and I tore severely with him. So delaying the induction is not really an option. I will be 10 days late at that point, by the way.

I've tried just about everything I could find as far as natural ways to induce labor. Sex is uncomfortable and hurts and does nothing, I've eaten everything from spicy foods to pineapple to black licorice, I've walked and walked...

Any advice on encouraging labor to start? Any advice on being induced and still going natural? I'm starting to feel very stressed about this whole thing.

Thanks.

Cod liver oil. Discusting, but it's been thought to start contractions. I was induced with my second with no pain meds and it went really quick and not as painful. Every one's different.

Be careful of the loose bowels if you do go in labor though.

Actually my friend is like 38 weeks 5 days pregnant she had a craving for a chocolate shake and went into labor like only an hour after that. Not sure if her body was ready or it was the chocolate shake. I actually tried that myself and now I'm at the point she's in but no labor.
