Here was one my Grandfather sang in the Trenches:
The Bells of Hell
The bells of hell go ting-a-ling-a-ling
For you but not for me:
And the little devils how they sing-a-ling-a-ling
For you but not for me.
O death, where is thy sting-a-ling-a-ling,
O Grave, thy victor-ee?
There is a shot at the ting-a-ling-a-ling,
For you but not for me.
For the dead a hymn they sing-a-ling-a-ling
Absolutely for you and me.

Try "Nimrod" (Variation 9) from the Enigma Variations by Edward Elgar. This incredibly moving piece of music is always played at the Cenotaph in London on Remembrance Sunday - usually before or after the two minutes silence.

"The Flowers of the Forest," preferably played on bagpipes. It's a very, very old Scottish tune, so it's not specifically related to World War I, but it's frequently played at funerals, and may well have been used at the burials of many British soldiers.
